"I am a Dentist that practices in Denville, NJ. We moved to a condo in Verona and we are not allowed pets. I love dogs, so I decided to volunteer at the Montclair Animal Shelter on my day off. I'll walk 6-10 dogs one or two times a week around Montclair so the community gets to meet these wonderful dogs. It also brings awareness to the valuable service that so many do at the shelter caring for these animals that have been abused or abandoned."

"We started to say hello to everyone we saw. We noticed right away people were ready to open up to conversation! It seemed that many people were tired of being alone behind their masks and had a lot of nice things to say. We found at the end of the day we also were much happier! Try it, it is uplifting."

"I recently took an excellent online winter gardening class from Duke Farms. In it, we used gallon sized translucent plastic food grade jugs (think water, milk, vinegar) to start seeds for spring/summer planting. What a great way to reuse!"

"I staffed a table for Main Street Burlington giving PPE to residents and businesses in our town. We set the table up on the sidewalk outside the Friends Meeting house. We passed out between 300 and 400 bags with face masks (two types), face shields and hand sanitizers."
